Rachel’s Remedy won the $20,000 top prize in the University at Buffalo’s Bright Buffalo Niagara Entrepreneur Expo this week.
The start-up also earned an automatic pass into 43North’s semifinals, acceptance into Critical Path, which is a life sciences accelerator program, and an opportunity to pitch at an upcoming Upstate Venture Association of New York event.

In a separate contest, SweetSpot won the $5,000 People’s Choice Award, in a contest that featured 16 presenters making 90-second pitches.
