Startups participating in Innovation Depot’s Velocity Accelerator program next year will have access to coaching and classes on growth, thanks to a new partnership with a Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund.

Firms selected for Velocity Accelerator in January will have access to live coaching from GrowthX, as well as an on-demand master class focused on helping them win customers, grow revenue and find product-market fit.

Innovation Depot’s 13-week Velocity Accelerator program helps selected startups scale up their operations, providing $50,000 in seed capital up front as well as the potential for grant funding at the program’s conclusion. Founded in 2015, GrowthX has operated its Market Acceleration Program (MXP) exclusively for portfolio companies.

“Innovation Depot is the perfect partner for GrowthX, as we both share the core belief that entrepreneurism can fuel the local and regional economy and create jobs when capital is combined with go-to-market expertise,” Andrew Goldner, CEO and a founding partner of GrowthX, said.

Kellie Clark, Innovation Depot’s director of programs, said GrowthX will “provide invaluable mentorship.”
