Ever wanted to spend a day in Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoes? Now you can, sort of.
The actress best known for her role as fashion aficionado Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City” has designed a collection of shoes, handbags and a trench coat for Nordstrom.
The SJP Collection aims to make shoe-aholics swoon with pumps and flirty, strappy stilettos in a variety of colors such as mint, purple and mauve. They are made in Italy and named after Parker’s fashion influences, including a pair dubbed “Carrie” and another called “Maud” for renowned designer Maud Frizon.
“I’ve taken inspiration from things in my life such as the grosgrain ribbons I tied in my hair as a girl to the flower accents from the ‘Sex and the City’ wardrobe to references to classic styles from the late ’70s and early ’80s,” Parker said in a statement.
Handbags got their names from some of Parker’s favorite spots in New York City. For instance, there’s the “Waverly” cross-body bag and the “Beekman” clutch. The “Manhattan” trench comes in navy or natural colors and is designed to accentuate the figure with an A-line fit and skirted silhouette.
“I’m a firm believer in quality and timelessness and have created this collection with the hopes that women will love wearing it for years to come,” she said.

Shoes will range from $195 to nearly $500, and handbags will be $245-$375. The trench will retail for $495. The line launches on Friday in select Nordstrom stores and at a pop-up shop at 372 W. Broadway in Soho in New York. Online, shop the collection at nordstrom.com.
